Should I take my bike ? Can I rent one as well as protections ?
It is always very pleasant to ride with your own gear, especially on this kind of sometimes very technical terrain.
Airport-port-accommodation transfers are very well organized. Our workshop is at your disposal to do a service if needed and store your bike overnight.

PROTECTIONS
Helmet, knee pads and long gloves are mandatory.

Ventilated full face enduro helmet or detachable chin guard may be the best option :​
Much more secure in ruff sections and there is at least one or more sections of pedaling and/or hike-and-biking in every excursion.

Back protector (or backpack with integrated back protector) is also recommended
​
Even if we make a point of cleaning the trails ,elbow guards, long sleeves, high socks and glasses are highly recommended to protect you from the sometimes "aggressive" plants of the island.

Technical clothing : Rain jacket, warm clothing and neckwarmer will be your best allies in case of wind or sudden change of weather.

Your guide will have tools to repair the most common problems in the field.

If you need to replace a component, our workshop has all the necessary tools and a stock of accessories, as well as Slicy tubeless products, but you will not find all the parts of all brands there.

If you are used to break components, it is therefore smart to bring parts that will allow you to continue one of the best mtb trips of your lifetime with your own bike, such as a derailleur hanger or a brake lever.
